Yellow,
My name is Cay (pronounced Kai), but you may know me as
Ona Teyac from open mics and music releases. More often than not I'm blinking, breathing, time
writing, singing.
Every day I'm on the clock. My mind races with all my longings, but can't cant keep up with what I got. I use most of my free time practicing on one of
these guitars,and exploring
Sump .
Some of my favorite works of writing are
No Arrangement Was Made by
Gregory Corso, The Wasteland by
T.S. Eliot,
Erostratus by
Jean Paul Sarte, and
The Unbearable Lightness of Being by
Milan Kundera. Although I hold traditional forms of writing in high regard, to me they pale in comparison to songwriting. My favorite songwriters are Conor Oberst of folk-rock band
Bright Eyes, and the late and great
Elliott Smith. The inspiration I take from these artists leads my music to be described by many as emo, lullaby-esq, loud, soft spoken, and most importantly;
lyric driven. If you want to see all of the vinyls I own, go to the
Album Collection .
While you're here please partake in plunder, in the
wonderous website of my gouda friend
Muenster.
Sincerely, Ona Teyac
